There are two types of assistantships offered to students. Students with Teaching Assistantship have to teach in classes and Research Assistantships deal with research related work.

Students from non European nations can also apply for scholarships. Students with exceptional academics are eligible for scholarships and to students with ethnic background or financial need, might get some considerations from university officials. Scholarship will not be identical for all students. Students will receive these scholarships from the university or a private source. There are few private scholarships providers like Novo Nordisk Foundation, which help student’s monetarily.

Tuition Fee Waiver

Students do not have to pay any tuition fee. Students need to pay fees for using facilities like library and laboratories. Universities offer tuition waivers in combination with a scholarship or Teaching/Research Associate ship.

On campus Jobs

Students can earn additional income through on campus jobs offered by the university. Students will not be entitled for any tuition waivers for on campus jobs. PhD students in Denmark receive financial help from the University for the Research Programs conducted by the students.
